When BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre reached out, they were looking for a creative partner who could help translate complex research into clear, human-centered communication.
Our role was to design a distinctive visual identity and campaign system that could carry three separate knowledge-transfer products under one cohesive umbrella — making academic findings accessible, shareable, and emotionally resonant.
Fernwood’s freelance creative team delivered a full-scope project from concept to completion: a 56-page policy report, a short animated video with custom illustration and sound design, a social media campaign, and a printed postcard series.
The work aimed to help shift public perception, elevate survivor-centered research, and support conversations around sexual assault awareness.
