Fernwood was hired by Julian Giacomelli to create an identity system and website for his new business venture Heart of Impact Leadership. Heart of Impact Leadership offers coaching and leadership development for mission-driven entrepreneurs. Julian is an experienced impact entrepreneur, investor and business (management) consultant. Julian is now a certified Integral Coach, a deep and delightful holistic approach and method to coaching.

We were inspired by his reference to the tenets of Buddhism and Eastern dragon symbolism: elemental and essential (Keywords: rectitude, courage, benevolence, respect, honesty, honour, loyalty). We naturally gravitated to an exploration in dragon icon with 2 other creative directions that represent ancient healing practices with a modern, contemporary business offering.

We facilitated a photography session to capture him in his element. Julian wrote all of his website content and provided other image assets for us to use in design production of a visually-impactful online expression of the brand and his services. Working with Julian has been an absolute joy.
